Customize a SharePoint List Form into Tabs

In my previous post, I talked about the importance of data entry forms in our applications.

Forms are the manual data entry to information systems. For this reason, they have become one of the key elements which we must pay more attention. The goal is to prevent them from becoming an entry point of errors, or generate problems, and dubts to users.

One of the recommended techniques, to reduce the stress of users about very large and complex forms, is to divide them into sections. The idea is to show a small set of fields with a particular purpose.

This will allow users to focus and complete the form more successful because we only show a limited set of information. This number of errors and confusions will be reduced, and it could help the user to obtain more easily a success in the process of filling all the information.

Kaldeera Advanced Forms has the hability to deploy a based TAB-based form interface. This allows you to divide into groups or sections all different fields of our SharePoint forms.

Below, you can find a video where it is showed how easy is to incorporate a TAB's dessign into a standard SharePoint form. Obviously with zero lines of code.
