Hello,
i want to have a edit form for a sharepoint list, where i can "update" the list entry without closing the edit form.
2 Buttons in the ribbon. the standard "Save" (which close the form) and a "Save, do not close" Button which updates changed values for our users.
In sharepoint there is only a save button which also closes the from.
Is there a way to have this option with "kaldeera advanced forms"?
I have seen a way to "recreate" the edit form with silverlight and additional code behind.
But maybe there is an easier way with advanced form.
Thank you

With Advanced Forms you can redefine the two standard SharePoint buttons (submit and cancel), but you can't create a new one.
You can edit the button configuration to prevent the form closing. To do this, select in the "Redirect URL" control the value "Edit form".
Unfortunately, you can't have two "Submit" buttons in the same form.

but when i define "submit" as redirect to "edit form", i have no possibility to save and close when edit is finished...
Is there another way? Can i add a button atdifferent location?
Or do you know another trick/work around?
Regards

When edit is finished, the user can "Cancel" the form. This will close the form.
